剧情：
美国邀请少林寺出国表演，小和尚五通（绰号波板）在广州和其他团员失散了，当在火车站四处找寻之际，发觉扒手偷了香港来客小吴（郭晋安饰）的钱包，便追了起来。当双方大打出手，小吴与公安林雅（朱茵饰）发生误会，反打了起来，小吴的钱包和证件更给林雅抛了落河，幸得林雅父亲（李名炀饰）调停，因小吴等失去证件，林伯遂邀请各人到其家暂住。
当晚林伯竟和小吴的妈妈（李丽丽饰）打了起来，原来二十年前两人本是相识，并相约私奔，可惜因一点误会而致分隔两地，幸而终于误会冰释。小吴的表弟小豆丁不忿各人亲近波板而不理他，自己出外玩耍并识了一群小混混，商量如何戏弄波板。小吴、林雅和波板四出游玩，小吴和林雅开始喜欢了对方，但又不敢直说。
当众人发觉小豆丁失了踪，四出找寻，和众小混混大战中，林雅的手下都受了伤，可是次天还要代表飞鹰队出赛，唯有负伤上阵。小吴等人要回香港，火车快将开行，小吴欲向林雅表白心事，见林雅因飞鹰队战况失利而苦恼不已，不敢上前，只好托林雅手下代转交一份礼物给她，便赶往火车站。究竟飞鹰队的赛果如何呢？林雅和小吴的感情去向又如何呢？
