《绝地战警》 柏内是一个顾家爱妻的好男人，而劳瑞则是衣着光鲜风流倜傥的富家子，这对迈阿密警局的绝妙拍档奉命追查一桩上亿元的毒品失窃案「绝地战警」是迈克尔·贝在拍过一阵子音乐录像带之后，首度担任电影导演的作品，电影于1995年推出，当时台湾的因特网还没有开始盛行，资料不像今天一样流通快速，洋葱当时去戏院看这部电影也是因为友人的口碑(就像「绝地任务」一样)当时「绝地战警」里的每个角色，没有一个是洋葱认识的，威尔史密斯和马汀劳伦斯在台湾尚无知名度，在美国也是刚从电视影集转战大屏幕，不过「绝地战警」因为其幽默的喜剧风格，加上不俗动作场面，让威尔·史密斯以及马汀·劳伦斯、导演迈克尔·贝等人在台湾打开了知名度，后来的「THE ROCK」也沿用了「绝地」的台湾中文片名，而在「绝地战警」中，马汀·劳伦斯的搞笑表现更是抢眼，应该和他在剧中所被设定的角色类型有关。《绝地战警2》故事发生在迈阿密，最近一段时间迈阿密的毒品交易突然异常猖獗泛滥，各个贩毒集团之间也火拼不断，总之就是把已经很糟糕的治安捣鼓得愈发鸡飞狗跳为了调查贩毒集团内部的重重矛盾，潇洒依旧的麦克(威尔·史密斯饰)和神叨依旧的马库斯(马丁·劳伦斯饰)再度临危授命，别看这两个小子整天不是你损我就是我亏你，没个正经，但是办起案来，他们的配合仍然默契得没话说，很快，两个人就摸到了事情的实质性脉络，原来一股外来的贩毒势力正在侵入迈阿密的毒品市场，为首的毒枭塔皮亚(詹迪·莫拉饰)野心勃勃，意图控制整个美国乃至欧洲的毒品交易，建立他自己的贩毒王国。
