这一假说是指什么呢？
这一假说指的是说明假设,就是用猜测的方法来说明一件事情。假说即指按照预先设定，对某种现象进行的解释，即根据已知的科学事实和科学原理，对所研究的自然现象及其规律性提出的推测和说明。而且数据经过详细的分类、归纳与分析，得到一个暂时性但是可以被接受的解释。任何一种科学理论在未得到实验确证之前表现为假设学说或假说。有的假设还没有完全被科学方法所证明，也没有被任何一种科学方法所否定，但能够产生深远的影响。如1900年德国物理学家马克斯·普朗克为解决黑体辐射谱而首先提出量子论（量子假说）。
假说是什么意思？
即科学研究上对客观事物的假定说明。是关于事物的因果性的一种假定性的解释，是依据一定的科学原理和事实，对解决科学研究问题提出猜测性、尝试性方案的说明方式。简言之，假说是指科学的猜测或设想。其基本特征是：第一，科学性。假说不是随意的幻想和毫无根据的空想，而是人们以己认识并掌握了的有关科学知识或经验知识为依据，以一定的确实可靠的关于研究对象的事实材料为基础，并按照科学逻辑的方法推理而成。第二，推测性。假说是在不完全或不充分的经验事实基础上推导出来的，是还未经过实践检验的结论，尚存在疑问的思想形态。因此，假说不得不带有一定成分的想象与推测。第三，抽象性与逻辑性。假设的这种抽象性与逻辑性是不成熟的。第四，预见性。它是对事物的本质、事物的内在联系、事物的规律性的猜测和推断，已具有一定的预见性。当然，这种预见性不一定准确。第五，多样性。科学研究中，对同一现象及其规律可以作出两种或两种不同或多种不同的假说，以供比较研究。一个已形成的假说应包括两部分：一是假说的核心部分，另一个是假说的推论部分。假说还具有可验证性，无法验证的，不能称其为假说。
